Technical Lead at Dynaminds, 2017 - Present, Ho Chi Minh city (Vietnam)
Vuong is the technical lead of Dynaminds - a real-estate company which built the well-known ~40k members Housing/Apartment Solutions in Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon) community. The whole system includes: Dynaminds.vn - the listing of accomodations under direct management of Dynaminds, Agent.Dynaminds.vn - the listing of accomodations under Dynaminds partners management.
Vuong also hands-on programmed Dynaminds's internal CRM & Chatbot which takes care of tenant records & billing, maintenance requests & complaints.
Developer Consultant at Thoughtworks, 2022 - 2023, Bangkok city (Thailand)
Vuong joined a diverse and cross-functional team as a consultant-developer for a leading e-commerce retail marketplace of Thailand which serves ~6000 online orders a day.
He played leading role in stablizing the application (reducing bugs & time to production) by introducing a metrics, logging & tracing system. This improved the quality of the application & the relationship between the development team & stakeholders.
Later on, he also led the initiative to modernize a core service which glued Finance, Warehouse, and Logistics sub-systems from one tightly-coupled monolithic Rails application into a set of light-weight interface services. This resulted in an easier and faster development process of the core service for the client.
Team Lead & Developer at ZIGExN VeNtura, 2020 - 2021, Ho Chi Minh city (Vietnam)
Vuong led 2 important projects at ZIGExN VeNtura - an offshore software development company with 100% invested by its Japanese parent company.
One of the projects involved developing & maintaining Japan based Kuruma-EX and its satellite websites. He had major contribution in improving the performance of the application such as: reducing the time for products to reach the end-users by 5 times from the original 2.5 hours to 30 minutes, migtigating crawling bots, and introducing caching to reduce website loading time.
The other project was releasing a reward application for African sale agents TCV Supporters a service of the largest Japanese used car marketplace in Africa TCV. The team was cross-functional with developers, testers, designers, business owners, and stakeholders from both Japan and Vietnam.
Developer at TripHunter, 2018 - 2019, Ho Chi Minh city (Vietnam)
Vuong was the hands-on developer of 2 key features of TripHunter.vn: the flight booking service & the trip planning tool. He involved in the whole software development life cycle of these 2 features from inception to production.
Together with the hotel booking service & tour booking service, these 4 features helped TripHunter.vn to become one of the top award-winning travel startups at the time.
